Alarm Monitoring
Tripwire provides NSAI approved alarm monitoring services.
Customers can also monitor their home alarm themselves through their
mobile phone (no monitoring fee).

Monitoring STATION
Your alarm system can be monitored through our NSAI approved
monitoring station for an annual fee of between €140 and €180 per
annum depending on the provider.
This fee will cover both security and medical monitoring. If the
customer is elderly or suffers from a medical condition we can offer
a waterproof pendant which the user can have with them at all times
whether in bed, bathing or even when gardening. The pendant has a
panic button for the user to activate in case of an emergency.
When you opt for monitoring through a monitoring station you will
get a police response upon activation of a verified alarm or panic
device. Your insurance company will normally offer you a greater
discount for having a monitored system. |

Self Monitoring
Tripwire can have your alarm system directly notify you of an alarm
activation via your mobile phone or work land-line. This can either
be done using your landline or via a cellular link.
When you opt for monitoring through a monitoring station you will
get a police response upon activation of a verified alarm or panic
device. Your insurance company will normally offer you a greater
discount for having a monitored system.
The system will text up to 4 designated mobile phone numbers upon
activation. A landline is not required. If you contact the Gardaí
they will require you or a neighbour to investigate and visually
verify that there is an intruder in your home or business before
they respond. The Gardaí will only respond to a verified signal or
panic signal from a certified monitoring station. Waterproof panic
or medical devices are also available with this type of monitoring. |
